Can you beat a great race day? We think not and we had a blast at the New Forest Marathon Festival recently!
It was the 3rd year in a row that we attended and it proved to be another great day interacting with over 5000 passionate runners taking part in 5 events. From the kids race up to the marathon, whatever run people were taking part in, it was great to see the nervous faces before the start, to then compare that to the smiles and laughs we saw as the runners returned with their hard earned medals hung around their neck!
This is one of six events that we're working with, and retailing at, this year and it's a great way for us to get in front of more runners to let them understand who we are and what we represent.
It was great to interact with runners who we have met before, some we had exchange messages with on social media, and then people that were discovering runr for the first time. No matter which category they fell in to, the shared passion for running was plain to hear in every conversation (ok, maybe not those that had completed the full marathon and were feeling slightly jaded!) and it was a joy to be there.
We're already looking forward to 2020 and are keen to get our race calendar in place. If you know a great race that we could be a part of the race village, then please let us know!
