Plymouth Running Festival X Runr

We're pleased to be partnering with the Plymouth Running Festival!

They are the largest mass participation sporting event in the South West, with over 6,000 runners taking part in Britain’s Ocean City Running Festival every year.

The 2024 event is taking place on Sunday 28th April and will be hosted once again on the historic and spectacular Plymouth Hoe.

The team behind the event are exceptionally proud of the destination route, taking in Plymouth city centre, Saltram Estate (National Trust property), the historic Barbican and returning on Plymouth Hoe.

They have worked hard to enhance the runners experience with increased cheer stations, and an improved post race experience including sports massage, catering, entertainment and an exhibition area.

They are also immensely proud of their Primary Schools Challenge. This challenge brings together primary aged pupils from across the city to finish their own half marathons by running the final 1.1miles on race day - they have previously run a mile a week for the past 12 weeks. 

It's an incredibly emotive and heart-warming race that really brings the community together.
