Power Up The Tower

What a great event it was on the night of the 28th April 2023 as we took part in power Up The Tower!

Dozens of runners took on the mighty Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.

Each one had the opportunity to cover each and every of the 530 steps from the bottom to the viewing deck and we weer treated with AMAZING views across the city and out over the Solent towards the Isle of Wight.

We wanted to say a big THANK YOU to Luke at Sweat Fitness who invited us to get involved and it was great to support the RNLI who the event raised money for.

We're pleased to announce that we're partnering up with Power Up The Tower - the newest event in the Tower Running World Association!

Hosted by Sweat Fitness, runners of all abilities will get the opportunity to take on the 530 steps up the internal stairwell of Portsmouths, Spinnaker Tower, as they Power Up The Tower!

Portsmouth Spinnaker Tower is the perfect venue for a Tower Run!

Each runner will start at the foot of the impressive tower and finish on the viewing deck which boasts stunning views across the Solent. 

With the event starting at 7pm on Friday 28th April 2023, finishers will get stunning sunset views to complete a memorable experience.

The event is in support of the RNLI with £5 of every ticket sold going direct to the charity.

It's been confirmed that the World Number 1 Tower Runner, Soh Wai Ching is travelling over from Malaysia to take part as he aims to solidify his rank as No.1 in the world.

Power Up The Tower is one of 27 events in the Tower Running World Association which aims to crown the World Champions in Tower Running at the end of each year.
